Arpita Bansal Appointed Haryana State President of Steel Consumer Forum

New Delhi: The Steel Consumer Forum (SCF) has appointed Mrs. Arpita Bansal as the State President of Haryana. The announcement was made during a meeting held at the organisation’s national headquarters in New Delhi. National President Mrs. Nivedita Sharma ‘Prem’ and National Coordinator Dr. Santosh Rai congratulated her on taking up the new responsibility.

Also present on the occasion was Mrs. Bhavna Bajaj, Haryana State Secretary of the Steel Consumer Forum and a senior advocate. She welcomed Arpita Bansal’s appointment and expressed hope that the organisation’s activities would expand further across Haryana under her leadership.

As State President, Arpita Bansal will be responsible for strengthening coordination among industrialists, steel producers, traders and consumers associated with the steel sector in Haryana. According to the organisation, her key focus will be on promoting Green Steel, Smart Steel and advanced steel technologies.

The organisation will also work towards improving the Ease of Doing Business for stakeholders associated with the steel industry in Haryana. Its objective is to promote modern technology and environmentally sustainable practices while creating a more transparent and efficient business environment in the steel sector.

During Arpita Bansal’s tenure, special attention will also be given to resolving disputes and complaints between consumers and steel producers. The Forum will work to facilitate dialogue between the two sides and ensure fair and speedy resolution of issues while protecting consumer interests.


National President Nivedita Sharma ‘Prem’ said that Arpita Bansal’s leadership would strengthen the organisation’s presence in Haryana. She said the Forum would continue to promote sustainable initiatives such as Green Steel while working towards the speedy resolution of consumer complaints. This, she said, would help create a better environment of cooperation between the steel industry and consumers.

National Coordinator Dr. Santosh Rai highlighted the important role of the industrial sector in building a developed India. He said that strengthening the steel sector would require a balance between technological innovation, transparency and consumer interests. He also extended his best wishes to Arpita Bansal for her new responsibility.

Mrs. Bhavna Bajaj, Haryana State Secretary and Senior Advocate, also shared her views on the occasion. She said the organisation would continue working to bring consumer issues related to the steel sector to the appropriate forum and facilitate their resolution.

The Steel Consumer Forum is working to promote technological innovation, efficient business operations and the protection of consumer interests in India’s steel sector. The appointment of Arpita Bansal is expected to further strengthen the organisation’s activities in Haryana and improve coordination among various stakeholders in the steel industry.
