TriQuanta Labs Anchors India’s Cryogenics-Free Quantum Computing Race; Achieves Ultra-High Vacuum Breakthrough for Dual-Engine Processor

HYDERABAD, INDIA — In a major milestone for the country’s sovereign hardware capabilities and aligned with national quantum technology goals, deep-tech deep engineering startup TriQuanta Labs Private Limited today announced the successful laboratory validation of its ultra-high vacuum (UHV) environment. Operating out of its dedicated facility footprint at the University of Hyderabad (UoH) ASPIRE TIDE, TriQuanta Labs has successfully stabilized a leak-tight baseline computing chamber environment down to 10^-10 Torr

This technical breakthrough places TriQuanta Labs as one of the elite, pioneering private industry players in India to successfully design, build, and validate the specialized physical vacuum containment necessary to operate high-density Neutral Atom computing arrays and Trapped Ion registers with a single control fabric. The teams current focus is to build Neutral Atom systems as a key foundational step.

Bypassing the Cryogenic Capital Wall

The announcement arrives on the heels of recent national developments in cryogenic engineering, such as state-backed initiatives successfully validating local dilution refrigeration setups down to -269°C (4 Kelvin) to test traditional superconducting components. While superconducting architectures require sub-Kelvin cooling systems that demand millions in capital expenditure and heavy continuous liquid helium maintenance overhead, TriQuanta Labs’ dual-engine platform operates via room-temperature, laser-stabilized optical fields trapped inside a pristine vacuum core.

By utilizing precision vacuum engineering rather than high-kilowatt cooling clusters, TriQuanta’s paradigm cuts foundational quantum facility and implementation costs by an unprecedented 60% to 80%, clearing a highly capital-efficient commercialization path for global enterprise and academic ecosystem.

A National Asset Ready for Technology Translation

Operating under a disciplined systems engineering roadmap aligned with the Principal Scientific Adviser’s National Technology Readiness Assessment Framework (NTRAF), TriQuanta Labs’ physical achievement de-risks the hardware containment core. The company is currently advancing a 36-month timeline to translate its mature analytical architecture into a completely integrated, laboratory-validated prototype testbed, scaling configurations safely up to a 40-site reconfigurable neutral atom grid and a 20-ion linear storage string.

“The achievement of a sustained 10^{-10} Torr environment within our physical sub-assembly proves that world-class quantum computing hardware foundations can be indigenously designed and built right here in Hyderabad,” said Dr. Naga Chaitanya Kosanam, Founder & CEO of TriQuanta Labs“We are not building abstract scientific experiments; we are engineering a scalable, protected, and accessible

dual-engine testbed prototype. By eliminating the multi-crore cryogenic barrier, we ensure that Indian universities, national defense clusters, and commercial enterprises can natively access high-coherence quantum co-processors without external technological dependence.”

TriQuanta Labs is currently finalizing its operational parameters alongside flagship national validation programs and is scaling its core embedded control firmware sprints to anchor its indigenous, multi-generational domestic patent portfolio.
